The European Zebrafish Society (EZS), created as the successor to “EuFishBioMed e.V.”, provides a platform for researchers and a framework for awarding grants to young investigators, while promoting zebrafish research.
It focuses on a wide range of topics, including epigenetics, gene regulation and genomic resources, emerging technologies (including gene manipulation and imaging), neurobiology, circuitry and behavior, disease models, cancer, immunity and infection, modeling and cell signaling, morphogenesis and organogenesis, toxicology, chemical biology and drug discovery, animal husbandry (and aquaculture), reproductive and evolutionary biology, stem cells and regeneration, tissue formation and structure, and cardiovascular development and function.
