LPB Frozen Shellfish Diet is a unique blend of 3 marine microalgae – Tetraselmis sp, Thalassiosira weissflogii, and Thalassiosira pseudonana – species that have all demonstrated success with a variety of shellfish including oysters, clams, mussels, and scallops.

This mixed diet provides excellent nutrition for bivalve species, from the 7th day after hatching of larvae to spawning, by increasing growth and survival rates. LPB Frozen Shellfish Diet is also an excellent food for tunicates, sea cucumber larvae, soft corals, artemia, and some copepods.

The LPB Frozen Shellfish Diet‘s biomass dry weight is 15%. The number of cells varies according to the time of year but is greater than 1 billion cells per ml.
