The Fishgun explained in the Zebrafish Journal
Dry and live feed dispenser for zebrafish
We are pleased to announce the publication of the article presenting the FISHGUN D1 and L1 in the Zebrafish Journal (release date: August 2019).
Our semi-automatic feed dispenser for zebrafish was developed by the University of the Sorbonne in Paris, co-developed and commercialized by Planktovie.
The article was written by the following authors:
- Raphaël Candelier (Jean Perrin Laboratory, LJP, National Center for Scientific Research, Sorbonne University, Paris, France)
- Alex Bois, Stéphane Tronche, Jéremy Mahieu and Abdelkrim Mannioui (Institut de Biologie Paris-Seine (IBPS), Aquatic Facility, Sorbonne Université, Paris, France)
They explain the concept of development of the FISHGUN, as well as its use. The latter is intended for scientific research facilities working with zebrafish.
The Fishgun D1 is specialized in the dispense of dry feed (granules, powder, etc.), and the Fishgun L1 is specialized in the dispense of live feed (rotifers, artemis).
